- I have been a journalist since 1980. (Studied at St. Anthony's, Egmore - 1965 - '76 - and at Loyola, Madras - 1977 - '81) I reported for The Week magazine of the Malayala Manorama and was a stringer for BBC Radio. I have been involved in the launch/ editorial and management of many free-circulation, English community newspapers - Anna Nagar Times, Adyar Times, Mylapore Times and Arcot Road Times. Today, I edit and publish Mylapore Times - launched in 1994. I am also the promoter of a few events in Madras - the Mylapore Festival held in Mylapore in early January; Madras Day celebrations held in August to celebrate the founding of this south Indian city; Art Fest - an open-air mela in public spaces for artists. Since I also teach Journalism, some Blogs here are on the first-efforts of my students.

ReplyDeleteToday that is 13th Dec when i was just going through the article of Mr.Vincent I was so happy. At least there is one person who takes keen interest in St. Anthony's Alumni. I made a lot of promises during my speech last year. This year being a hectic year for me with many competition
around the world i was occupied .Moreover i have joined as competition Manager for 2010 commonwealth Games . You must be aware that Athletics in the mother of sports and it has to be showcased for 2010 and that responsibility lies in my hand. So whatever promises i have made I will see that it has been executed but after CWG. Games. My sincere condolence to sister Teresina's demise . Unfortunately I am in Loas for South East Asian Games other I could have come.
Keep it up and I am really proud of you for your excellent work
